Do I qualify for Medical Marijuana?
KRS 218B.010 defines qualifying conditions as:

Any type or form of cancer regardless of stage

Chronic, severe, intractable, or debilitating pain

Epilepsy or any other intractable seizure disorder

Multiple sclerosis, muscle spasms, or spasticity

Chronic nausea or cyclical vomiting syndrome that has proven resistant to other conventional medical treatments

Post-traumatic stress disorder

What Medical Marijuana services are available now? When can I expect Medical Marijuana Cards to be available?

As of January 1st, 2023, Kentucky physicians can provide a legal document certify a patient as having a qualifying medical condition to possess Medical Marijuana.

Please note that in order to legally possess Medical Marijuana you must: purchase the Medical Marijuana from a dispensary in another state, have your receipt from that purchase, carry your certification document with you, and have less eight ounces of Medical Marijuana in your possession.

On December 1, 2024, the online portal for the Kentucky Office of Medical Cannabis begins accepting certification submissions from medical cannabis practitioners. If you book an appointment with us before then, we will submit your information to on that date; otherwise, we will submit your information within twenty-four (24) hours.

​Starting January 1, 2025, the online portal for the Kentucky Office of Medical Cannabis begins accepting patient applications via their website (kymedcan.ky.gov).

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Due to the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure regulations (201 KAR 9:067), a patient's initial consultation must be in-person; however, we offer virtual appointments for all renewals. If this requirement changes, of course, we will update our availability.
